Little Princess Dance Camp

The week before we left for our July 4th beach vacation Sophia had her first dance class.  We enrolled her in the Little Princess Dance Camp for the week.  She danced each night for an hour and they even had a performance for the parents on Friday.  I don't think she had a clue as to what to expect when we said she was going to "dance."  To her, "dance" is more of a....um....booty shaking type of thing.  She can shake her hiney with the best of them.  So when she was in class practicing a more socially accepting (esp for a 3 yo..HA)  ballet type dance, at first I don't think she was loving it!  By the second class she was getting the idea and enjoying every minute! 

Of course what princess performance would be complete without a crown and tiara?Cinderella made a surprise appearance!  These little girls were in heaven!

Yes...this was during the performace.  She was more interested in me sitting in the front of the class than she was at remembering what she was suppose to be doing!  She was precious regardless of what dance moves she was or was not doing!!!  She is super excited about starting a weekly dance class in the fall.  She will be doing  ballet, tap and tumbling so I think she will enjoy it even more than just the ballet alone.  I don't know who is more excited...Sophia or her mommy!!!
